Rakernas APJATEL 2025

Rakernas APJATEL 2025 focuses on accelerating digital transformation in Indonesia through collaboration and infrastructure development.

Rakernas APJATEL (Rapat Kerja Nasional Asosiasi Penyelenggara Jaringan Telekomunikasi) 2025 is set to take place from October 8 to October 17, 2025. This event aims to gather stakeholders in the telecommunications sector to discuss and strategize on the acceleration of digital transformation in Indonesia. The theme for this year is centered around "Akselerasi, Kolaborasi, dan Sinergi dalam Kedaulatan Transformasi Digital Indonesia".

Rakernas APJII 2025

The Indonesian Internet Service Providers Association (APJII) held its 13th National Working Meeting (Rakernas) at the Novotel Palembang Ballroom, South Sumatra, on Thursday (September 25, 2025). The event was attended by around 556 participants from various provinces in Indonesia.

This Rakernas carried the theme "Transportation, Acceleration, and Internet Utilization in All Lines of Industry." The theme underscores APJII's commitment to strengthening the role of the internet as a vital infrastructure in supporting the growth of the digital economy.

Digital Infrastructure is Key

The Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs, Meutya Hafid, emphasized that digital connectivity is an absolute requirement to realize the equitable distribution of artificial intelligence (AI) across Indonesia.  

This was conveyed by the Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs at the HIPMI x MVT Connect 2025 forum themed “Beyond Limits - AI for Next-Gen Digital Transformation,” held at Hotel Claro, Makassar, South Sulawesi.  

"This is the basic capital for digitalization and then embracing or accepting artificial intelligence; without this, AI would not be possible because we do not have connectivity," said the Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs in a press release received on Tuesday (17/6/2025).
